Clear Creek Abbey Announces Next Phase of Monastery Construction

The Abbey of Our Lady of the Annunciation at Clear Creek has announced the next phase of monastery construction — completing the permanent chapter building, dormitory wings, and guest facilities that will bring the community to its full contemplative capacity.

The monks have lived through decades of provisional arrangements, celebrating the liturgy in spaces built for purpose but not yet fully finished. The completion phase will realize the original vision for the monastery as a whole — a coherent architectural organism in Oklahoma sandstone, built to last centuries.
