Clear Creek: East Wing Finishes Complete, Monks Settling In

With the East Wing finishes in place, the monks of Clear Creek have begun settling into the new spaces. The chapter room — the heart of Benedictine community life, where the Rule is read daily and the community gathers for its most important deliberations — is complete and in use.

The cloister walk connects the new wing to the church and existing monastery buildings. The cells are occupied. After years of construction activity in this part of the complex, the monks have quiet again.
