Cathedral of St Joseph Rededicated

The Cathedral of St Joseph in Jefferson City was rededicated this weekend, the diocese gathering for a Mass that marks the completion of one of the most comprehensive programs of liturgical renewal in the region.

The project — years in design and construction — has given Jefferson City a cathedral interior that reads as a single, coherent liturgical environment: nave, baldachin, side altars, confessionals, organ loft, Stations, windows, and bronze doors all of a piece. The News Tribune covered the occasion.
