Clear Creek: East Wing Blessed by the Abbot

The newly completed East Wing at Clear Creek Abbey was blessed by the abbot, with the community processing through the cloister walk and chapter room for the first time. The ceremony marked the formal completion of a phase of construction that has added the monastery’s most important communal spaces.

The chapter room in particular — vaulted, stone-walled, lit from above — is one of the finest interiors the firm has produced. It was designed to be used for centuries.
