Iconography at the Cathedral of St Joseph Receives Sacred Art Prize

The iconography program at the Cathedral of St Joseph in Jefferson City has received recognition through the Gwyneth Thompson-Briggs Sacred Art Prize, established to honor excellence in the integration of sacred art with the liturgical environment.

The prize acknowledges the work of the artists whose imagery occupies the cathedral walls and windows — and, by extension, the architectural framework within which that imagery was designed to function. We are glad to see it recognized.
