Clear Creek: East Wing Nearing Completion

The East Wing at Clear Creek Abbey is nearing completion, with interior finishes underway across the new chapter room, cloister walk, and monastic cells. The pace of work has been steady and the quality of the stonework — Oklahoma sandstone, laid by craftsmen who have been on this site for years — is evident throughout.

The community made a visit to Benedictine College in Atchison this autumn to review comparable stonework and interior finishes as a reference for their own completion decisions.
